As a congregational church, we affirm the responsibility of the body to prayerfully affirm leaders, make key decisions, and hold one another accountable in truth and love. Yet we also recognize that God has appointed elders to lead by teaching the Word faithfully, guarding sound doctrine, and shepherding the flock. Our elders labor to rightly handle the Scriptures and to equip the saints for the work of ministry.

Our deacons serve the church by meeting practical needs, supporting the ministry of the Word, and ensuring that no member of the body is neglected. Their service frees the elders to devote themselves to prayer and the ministry of the Word, and it models Christlike humility and care.
